I am Luciana Feito.

 

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I actually live. I have a degree in Graphic Design from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). After my graduation, I found passion in illustration. My main experience has been in children books but I have also done commissioned illustration projects in albums, magazines, stationary, web games and surface patterns for fabrics, amongst other works.

I have taken part in several group exhibitions in Argentina and abroad. In 2008 my work was selected to join the Argentinian catalogue When cows fly… at the Bologna children’s Book Fair and in 2012, at the Imagenpalabra exhibition in Colombia.

In 2017 I launched NOK, my own entrepreneurial project where I design and develop kids bedding. I enjoy creating surface patterns: I think each of my collections is a tiny world where different elements live, share and have a special role to make everyday products look more beautiful.

 

I draw inspiration from everything around me! Nature, flowers and the music I listen. Playing with my kids allows me to get into an imaginary world where everything is possible—fairies and dancing flowers, cat’s tea parties and space expeditions! Some pattern collection ideas where inspired by them.

Soy Luciana Feito. Nací en Buenos Aires, Argentina, donde actualmente vivo. Soy ilustradora y diseñadora gráfica egresada de la Facultad de Buenos Aires (FADU UBA). Luego de graduarme descubrí que lo que más me apasionaba era ilustrar y mientras me capacitaba en diferentes talleres de dibujo, comencé a trabajar, principalmente ilustrando libros infantiles. Desde el 2007 mis dibujos pueden verse en libros, revistas, papelería, estampados, etc.

Participé en varias muestras con otros colegas. En 2008 fui seleccionada para formar parte del catálogo argentino “When cows fly…” en la Feria del libro infantil de Bologna. En 2012 algunas ilustraciones fueron seleccionadas para la muestra "Imagenpalabra" en Colombia.

En 2017 lancé una marca propia de ropa de cama infantil, NOK. Donde desarrollo los productos y el diseño de los mismos.
